    SAP.

How long does it take for EA to contact you? It seems like most people who's getting the job gets contacted within 1-2 days.

    Interesting, what position?

SAP/BObj contacted me 1 or 2 days after the interview.

An intern. I don't want to be too specific in case those guys scout this forum or something. It's programming related, so yup. I thought the interview went really well, the best that I had so far but alas, I didn't get the job. They haven't contacted me yet, so I guess I'll have to keep trying.

I don't know what to do. I had to wake up early and go to the Coop Workshop. However, I totally forgot and woke up late. What should I do? Will it affect my chances of getting a job? I am confused...
  • edited July 2009
Just go some other time to that workshop.

They contacted me about a day after submission. I applied on the deadline.

I got a job!! YAY!! Third time's the charm, even though I completely bombed the interview and felt like I wasted their time.

SAP. I think Ether works there too.

I almost missed the opportunity as well. I was planning on not checking my email until school starts since I know I wasn't going to get the job. Whew.

    Anyone started yet?
My start date with the Canucks is Sept. 1st, but I had an orientation today so there's a bit of an overlap with the current intern. It looks AMAZING. I took a tour of all of GM Place (including locker rooms and exercise rooms!)
Mason Raymond was also in the office today...so naturally I froze when he said hello. Oh boy!

anyone done a 8 month co-op term b4? I'm stuggling to decide if I should accept an 8 month co-op contract that a company just offered me 2 days ago....

im on track with my courses, and i think i will enjoy this job cause it will be my first "full-time" job out of the retail sector.. But i am just not sure if i'm ready for 8 months of full time work + missing 2 semester for me seems like a bit too much...

anyone have experiences they like to share?? was it possible to take like 1 or 2 courses during your work-term?

I got screwed in Summer semester and quiet frankly, didn't do well. So, I am kinda worried about my Coop placement. Do you think drop in GPA would affect my chance of getting Coop? let me know folks...

i guess you are applying for spring? I think if your GPA was high in the past, and the employer saw a sudden drop in gpa from 1 semester, they will probably question you during the interview. but it shouldn't be that bad...

I had horrible grades in high school and first year, which showed on my transcript, but the employer didn't seem to care.

That is not bad then. Thanks a lot man.

Depends what faculty you are in...but nine times out of ten, they really don't care about your GPA.

    Sounds good Nicole.

Cross fingers folks for my first time Co-op application. I am kinda nervous lol
  • edited September 2009
shouldn't be so nervous. There are lots of co-op oppertunities + you can always "wait in line" since most contracts last only 4 months. In the mean while, you can just focus on studying and finishing your degree!
  • edited September 2009
Is it possible to withdraw the Co-op program? I haven't got called for any interview so far, so I was thinking of not doing it at all or may be apply it before I graduate if I don't get into Med school. Let me hear your thought folks...
    Thanks

just stop applying for jobs then
  • edited September 2009
ya, just ignore symplicity.com then, cause you don't have to pay anything until after you signed a contract with the co-op company.

Probably just not your turn this semester, maybe try next semester if you really want a job.

But im guessing you will be getting e-mails from your co-op advisor asking you to apply for jobs
  • edited July 2010
Hey folks, I got my first Co-op interview scheduled this coming Wed. Please advice anything you could share with me-what to expect, what they usually ask etc...

    Thanks
