    just curious why you would want to apply for a credit card abroad??? doesnt your current credit card allow you international access?

    Rather not pay the 2.5% transaction fee ontop of the spot exchange rate each time I use a credit card abroad. Also many places do not allow me to use my Canadian Visa/MC in certain countries.

    huh, thats weird. i was able to use my visa and mc throughout asia and australia.
