  i actually need a very specific course, 407 or 416 and both were full.

  so is your registration date more dependent on how many credits you have or your gpa or both?

  i think it's a combination of GPA and what year you are in.

  jaydub answered this question for me perfectly. It has more to do with credits than gpa. When i find the thread i will post.

  The order of registration goes in this order: First the varsity athletes, scholarship students and people with zero credits, then it is given out based on number of completed credits and ties are broken based on GPA.
  
  It won't be till you have 100+ credits that you get a decent enrollment date."
