No, but I've been there once and there were lots of cockroaches.

No offense, but I have been to Singapore a few times and I have nothing but bad things to say about that country.

The people there are rude and arrogant and there is nothing to do over there. The people there are very up-tight and I feel very unwelcomed there.

The last time I was at Singapore was back in Summer 08. After a whole day of sight seeing, my group wanted to take a taxi back to our hotel. We waited for 45 minutes for a taxi (there were at least unoccupied six taxies that just drove by us) and 30 more minutes after we called the taxi station for one. Then, the taxi that was suppose to pick us up refused us because the hotel was too far away. We finally had to walk another 30 more minutes in 30+ degree weather to find a taxi that will carry us.

Also, the stuff there are very expensive. A copy of COD4 (PC version) costs about $90 Canadian and a copy of Halo 2 costs $60...

The only good thing I can say about that country is that the Bak kut teh (肉骨茶) and the laksa tastes good. As for cockroaches, welcome to Southeast Asia, vonnie and imelting.

Never been there, but I remember playing some online game where most of the players were from Singapore.

They all spoke horrible English - and not in an ESL kind of way. It was as if they were intentionally bastardizing the language.

I quit playing after a few weeks because I just couldn't take it any more.
