anyone actually get any courses they need?

i need ONE 400 level english class to finish up and they're all full. fuck this.

    I made about one schedule plan, and then 2 others for back up just in case.

    yup, because my registration was on the 6th :) It's amazing how SA 150 was like half filled on the first day of registration.

    Mines on the 13th, and I need...

    BUS: 312, 343, 362, 364, 432

    432 had one seat left when i checked, and 312 had 12 seats left.
    I got my friend to register into them for me... and drop them when I can enroll lol.

    Yeah, that is almost entirely full now... the tutorial I'm in is completely full, even the waitlist. Crim 101 filled up ~330 seats in the first two days.

    I didn't really have much of a plan for registration... finished lecture today and went outside to look for courses
    1 lower div psyc course and 3 upper div psyc courses

    all 4 courses are either on tuesday or thursday .. both days i'll be in lectures from 1130-530 consecutive

    I don't have the prereq for all the other upper div courses :(

    I'm in a 300 level Sociology course on Tuesday nights downtown I believe...it's a part of the NOW Cohort program. It fit in my schedule!

    the only class i didn't get into was crim 317 the rest i did.. i can't believe i'm staying on bby till 8:30pm on wed nights.. X(

    so true. Last time that happened, I got a text and got up and left the lab. Got zero on that lab but it sure was better sleeping on my own bed then sleeping on some mat on the gym floor

    The last snow in was great for me. I had a math midterm the next day and since a lot of people were stuck at Burnaby overnight, it was made optional :teeth:.

    IIRC, they make you PAY for those mats and blankets :P

    i'm not stuck there past five, once it gets too late roads ice up and buses wont be movin up or down.

    i got snowed in at 4pm once. class ended at 420, was heading to my car and saw that the gate was down blocking the main road down.

    fuckers made me stay there untill 730 when the snow had stopped and they were able to get plows moving. i told the guy i had snow chains and tires and he still wouldnt let me go.

    sucked big time.

    Is that the "Prostitution in Canada" class? Because I was planning on getting into that class too but it filled up so quickly!

    yeah.. that class filled up in the second day of registration.. =\ i refrained from taking lussier's sexual offenders class cause i heard mixed reviews abt that class.. but i'm dying to get into 317..

    Yeah, I read about him on RMP but they're pretty mixed. I heard it was a really interesting class but his exams are apparently fucked. But then again, there were only two reviews from that specific class but his other reviews didn't look too good... Apparently he's hot though.

    It sucks, I wanted to take ENG 205, but all the classes are closed already and today was my reg date, so I basically got screwed over...

    Oddly enough, I manage to get all the courses that I need, even the HIST: 465 Israeli/ Palestinian Conflict. I though we history majors will be fighting over ourselves for a spot in that elusive course.

    Oh really, if I recall, your registration was on July 9 at 1:30PM. After reading this statement on that day, I went and browsed the GoSFU system and found almost all 400 level English course open. Even right now, ENGL:427W Topics in the Romantic Period is open.

    I was going to take a screenshot, but I choose not to.

    And shouldn't this be in Academic Lounge?
