Hey anyone has suggestions for GPA booster classes? i was thinking of CMPT 165, EASC 103 (dinosaurs), CRIM 101. Have anyone taken those classes, could you share your experiences? thanks i appreciate it.
Great choices! CMPT 165 is a very popular GPA booster among many business and science students. Many members on this forum (ex: Vonnie and JayDub) have taken this course before and they got NOTHING but great things to say about this course.
The EASC 103 course is also a good course. However, one problem with this course is that the textbook is rather expensive. To be honest, if you just want your W, I would recommend HIST 102 and HUM 102.
CRIM 101 is also a course that a few members have taken.
i took econ 104 with krishna and it was easy... basic econ but anyone can get a good grade. The text was not really needed either. Or just go for earth sciences or archaeology lol
IAT 244 was pretty easy, but a lot of the lectures are pretty pointless. (Though a few of them were very helpful) Our lectures usually alternated, one technical (eg Exposure settings, Lighting, etc), then one artistic (Staring blankly at pictures on the projector for the entirety of the lecture) In the labs we did photoshop.
There were 4-5 projects, each worth around 15-20%, in which you basically took a few pictures based on what the assignemnt was..

Crim 355 - Brenda Morrison
Basically all lower level crim courses are easy, with or without a "criminology background"
A grade booster, anything in the business faculty.
I wouldn't recommend Crim101. Boringest class everrrr. Yes... Boringest.

I need a final elective, a GPA booster would help too :)
