Fuck my life, its 3AM and I'm still working on an Essay that was technically due yesterday, and I have to be at work in 5 hours.

What is everyones experiences with late papers?

Do you often hand things in late? Do you ever ask for extensions? Do you really care?

I've found that my work ethic has gone down as the number of credits I have has increased

I just finished my 12 page paper right now without even pulling an all-nighter...that's gotta be a first.

I've tried the whole extension excuse before, no tragedy, no dice.

I've found that with less credits, my work ethic has decreased. Maybe because its summer...who knows.

If you can, call in sick. If you're paper was due yesterday, you still have time to get it in before 4:30 pm tom before another day penalty (if its DE) is tacked on

I've always handed things in on time or not at all
I can't be bothered to ask for extra time

    ^same here.

I always justify if im not going to do it at all. Like if its only 10% or something

I don't believe in papers, but in the courses I've had, I haven't had a problem getting papers done on time by perhaps staying up a little late (and skipping a few classes :]

As for deadlines in general, the one class where I sometimes had trouble gauging the amount of time I could procrastinate was CMPT310, until I found the big secret that if I would quietly submit the assigments 2 or 3 days late (online submission) without any excuse or reason, I wouldn't get penalized.

I always manage to finish things on time. I usually start two weeks before it's due, really focus on it for about two days, and then forget about until a couple days before it's due. I've never handed any papers in late, but I have handed in some assignments in late aka CMPT 165 last semester. But other than that, I'm pretty good at handing things on time.

thats the shity thing about CMPT classes, you can have the logic in your head but then there will be some idiotic error or glitch u run into that eats up a huge chunk of time
