Sociology/Anthropology Courses

edited June 2009 in General
How hard are the 100-level courses? I've noticed they're 4 credit courses so....would it be suicide to take 4 at once?

I've found often 3 vs 4 credits doesn't always mean MORE work, as opposed to just being in class MORE per week.

    Sometimes anyway.

I think the distinction doesn't always reflect workload.

In the Faculty of Arts, the number of credit hours given to a class is directly related to the number of hours you are in class. Three credit classes tend to have two hours of lecture and one hour or tutorial. Four credit classes tend to be three hours of class and an hour of tutorial.

randomuser is pretty much correct that it doesn't mean it is harder, just means you are in class more.

I know lower level CS classes have three hours of lecture a week and an hour tutorial/lab and they are only three credit hours, that doesn't make them harder though.
