Need a new phone
Anything you would recommend?
Need to try something new and I'm bored of my SE G900.
Preferences:
Must have at least a 3.2 MP camera.
I would want a 3.5mm audio jack.
GPS is optional.
Wouldn't want another SE because of the stupid M2 card.
Preferably under $600. Money isn't really a problem but I'd like to keep it... relatively low lol.
No blackberry or iPhone suggestions please.
Other than that I'm open to suggestions

i've tried a lot of different high end smartphones, and after recently buying this curve 8900/javelin. just wow.
screen quality is stellar
great keyboard for texting, makes it ridiculously fast
bbm
great speaker quality
spectacular camera/image viewing qualities
great video playback
oops. just read no blackberry suggestions :P
i would say HTC Magic or Dream
But I guess she doesn't want them... oh well!
The HTC ones doesn't look too good. I know someone that has one and spent 20 minutes trying to enter my phone number because the touch screen sucks ass.
Perhaps something from the Nokia N-series? Never been a fan of Samsung-anything.
nokia n97
or the new 5330 express music
or the e72, which looks like the e71 but has a 5mp camera
get the e72, except i dunno the price yet cuz its not released until Q3 :P or an e75
Sometimes I wonder how bb's, or any other manufacturer, are more popular than Nokias. Hopefully with this phone, they should get the recognition they deserve.
But anyway here's a list of its specs: Nokia e71 specs
Side-to-side comparison with the iPhone 35s: e71 vs 3GS
Dimensions are much smaller than the iPhone. It's much slimmer, lighter and it also looks sturdy while maintaining a professional appearance. Although to be honest I think the design looks more masculine than unisex ( /unisexual?). Only advantage of iPhone that's probably worth noting is it's 600 hr talk time!
But in terms of features and the technology they offer, it's definitely the e71 HANDS DOWN.
Anyway, this is the phone that I really wanna get but have been kinda hesitant because I'm practically broke and I don't really need a phone with this much features, yet. And touch screens look fragile for me. Tell me what you guys think!
The spacebar is on the side...?
other wise my vote goes to the new n series nokia
However, i would suggest something from Nokia as well, you really can't argue with their build quality and well supported s60 OS
I think she said no SE's
Guess I don't hafta get one, haha.
It's not the one I wanted but it's pretty good.
Nokia 5800 Express Music - in blue :)
