REZ SECTION

Hey, great site, but I think you guys need to make a RESIDENCE SECTION,

So we can talk about events and parties going on, issues in Rez, the social scene, etc., and also all of the people who are in rez can let each other know in this section, it would be so sweet to have!!

    Hey what building are you in? I think we need to get more people from rez on here, no one really knows about it :sad:

    Hi Simon, thanks for the suggestion.

    We have considered a Rez section in the past, but decided it would be best not to "segregate" everyone for now. To enhance the community vibe of TalkSFU, we'd rather add sections where the students can talk about shared interests and experiences. However, as the site grows and more rez students become members, we would definitely consider a place for you to hang out and discuss stuff going on around the resident community.

    Ok, I see, well I think now that we are over 500 members there are a lot of people on here from rez, and those who arn't can talk to us and see what it is like, maybe if they want to stay in rez sometime soon. I think it would be a good idea to get a section going.

    Why don't you start a thread for now and if it's really popular it might encourage them to make an entire section?

    I thought about doing that, but there is just way too much to talk about, ex. what building are you in? how do you like your CA? hows being away from home? hows your view? hows your room? hows the food? and on and on, but hopefully they will just make one soon!

    And you should have some influence in this...since you're a moderator!:wink:

    I am in rez, I was in B-Rae House but now I am in the Townhouses, or I will be in a few weeks.

    I think its kind of odd to have a rez section with so few members.

    Im not in rez so i wouldnt have any place being there.

    Thats like having other forums and having a burnaby or north vancouver section to it....just doesnt make sense to me....
