talkSFU Update 23/05/2009
It's been a while since the last talkSFU news update, so I thought I'd take a minute to get caught up with the recent changes and developments.
1) Many of you have already noticed that Siuying is the latest addition to the talkSFU.team. Siuying (which is not her real name :P) is a very nice person who is smart and articulated. She was nominated and selected to be a talkSFU.mod because she sets a good example for other members and is always willing to help out with advice. Congratulations Siuying, hope you enjoy your new position!
2) One of the bastards on the talkSFU.team took the time and resources to upgrade our ShoutBox...more specifically it was Magnificent_Bastard. I'm sure everyone appreciates the subtle advantages that the upgrade provides, such as unlimited posting limits, online users, and userbase integration which will help us integrate your ShoutBox user name with your talkSFU user name. Thanks M_B!
3) Last but not least, we've been continuing work on talkSFU v.3 which is something that I am very excited about. Using some familiar components and some completely new ones, the new site is becoming more useful as a communication tool and resource for SFU Students. I love the community we have here and I think everyone at SFU will be really impressed when they see the new site.

That's all for now! Drop some feedback about the new site and if you wanna get involved as a writer or web developer let me know.
Cheers,
