Whats your favorite newspaper

edited May 2009 in General
So what kinda newspapers do you guys read? According to Rupert Murdoch, the days of free online news are over so I was just sitting here reminiscing about the years of free access we've had privilege to on the internet.

Some of my favorite places to get news are

www.theglobeandmail.com (especially rob)
www.vancouversun.com
www.usatoday.com
www.iht.com (the global edition of the new york times)

Sometimes I hit up bloomberg.com and businessweek.com too

I don't normally read print newspapers. If I did though, I'd read the Province because it's easy to flip through.. unlike the Sun and the Globe and Mail.

I have a cbc.ca news tool on my iGoogle. That's where I read all my news.

How the hell are you supposed to read those giant ass fold out papers like the vancouver sun unless youre at a kitchen table?

i like that the province has the canuck poster series, but i like the sun and the globe and mail overall for news.

I usually read the Times Colonist, and the National Post on the weekends.

I would probably like the sun a lot more if it was in more of a book form like the Province instead of giant separated sections. Dealing with it just annoys me.

I couldn't decide between National Post and Globe And Mail but it was eventually the Report on Business section of G&M that won me over....it does get hard to read papers like that and the Vancouver Sun though unless you have a lotta room lol...the Province is definitely good for it's easy to read format but the content of the articles is usually not very high in quality....other than the superb coverage of the Vancouver Canucks, it's more like one of those dailies (24, metro news, etc.)

Reddit isn't bad, but when it comes to aggregators I prefer Google News because it pulls only from real newspapers. It's literally in my top 5 of sites that I check regularly just because of the way it's laid out.
