I've been to the last two Marilyn's sales at Grouse Inn and Executive Inn and it's only women's clothing. The only good deals there are the jeans which are only 50% off (pretty good considering the size run they have) and are mostly comprised of Joe's, Paige's, Sevens, Rock and Republic, People's Liberation, and Juicy Couture. I bought a pair of dark wash Sevens last time they were here for 50% + tax.
There were also some Betsey Johnson dresses and Marc Jacobs gladiators but the rest of the clothing is not worth it. It's like all women's clothing... OLD women's clothing.
If you do want a good sample sale to go to, I suggest going to the one at Clark & Parker (#130-1355 Parker St). They have Sam Edelman shoes, Colcci clothing, at really great prices. I picked up a pair of metallic snakeskin ankle boots by Sam Edelman for $40!!!! Retail is atleast $150+. One pair for $40 or two for $60. Pretty good, IMO. Awesome sale if you're a size 6 in shoes. Might be harder if you're otherwise, but I got lucky!
