go canucks! u guys still know that if we win the division and anaheim wins their last game while columbus loses their last game it'll be nux and ducks in round 1? i think this would be trouble for us as anaheim will be tough to beat.
between Anaheim or Columbus, I'd rather a more inexperienced and less offensively deep team in Columbus. But I think this years Anaheim team (while offensively deep still) is nothing close compared to the one that won the cup

If it is Friday I will have to miss my girl's birthday dinner.
If it is Saturday I am going to miss out on some last minute cramming for CMPT 307 which I am afraid to fail.
I think its pretty much a given that it will be Friday or Saturday. If the series starts Wednesday I could see them having an extra day off so CBC can get in their traditional Saturday night doubleheader. If the series starts Thursday its basically guaranteed to be Saturday. I'm supposed to work Wednesday and Friday night and I have tickets to both games so if they decide to play on those nights I'm going to have to find a way to get out of it.
there are tons of interesting matchups this year one thing that might work against us is the travel, vancouver <-> stl will be the longest distance for all the current playoff matchups if we win that, next round could be detroit, a michigan team and long travel again
good point imelting...travel is definitely a factor that can't be ignored...but then again, the same distance applies to St Louis when they come to the Vancouver games
