How fast can you clear 40 lines??


I can only clear 40 lines in 1:16.94 mins :cry:
I've seen people on youtube clear 40 lines in 40 seconds or less!!! :angry:

    lol u have to select 'sprint' mode and it will stop the game after 40 lines

    i tried it once yesterday and got like 3 mins, badass gamer i am

    And I can't play the one on fb at work, because 1) fb is blocked and 2) i dont' have the app lol.

    Yeah I had to change the keys around a bit because I couldn't manage rotating and hard dropping both with my left hand.. so now I do this:

    Left hand:
    Rotate left = z
    Rotate right = c

    Right hand:
    Up = hard drop
    Down = soft drop
    Left = move left
    Right = move right
    Hold = numpad 0

    I have a similar tetris record but it's from a different site - www.freetetris.org - and I haven't seen anybody anywhere with a higher score/lines/level

    Not just that... it's harder to control and there's no hard-drop option. So stupid how you hafta keep pressing down to make it drop faster.

    DS Tetris is fun and all, but once you get beyond a certain skill level it is simple enough to keep playing as long as you want.

    I tried using custom controls on tetrisfriends but I can't get use to rotating with my left hand... so switched back to default lol. So fail.

    It's strange because I can play perfectly fine on the ds moving left/right with my left hand and rotating with my right.

    My hand-eye coordination is so bad lol.

    This tells me that your left cortex in the brain doesn't coordinate with your right hand, jk...lol.

    Just keep on pressing the arrows on the keyboard and make sure to start with the level that you may be comfortable with when playing tetris.

    It takes awhile to get used to.. I was on default controls and fastest was about 1:08.. tried changing up the controls a bit so I could rotate both CW and CCW, and started off averaging about 2mins lol.

    Yeah I kept getting confused, I would still press Up to rotate but then I changed it to hard drop so I kept dying real fast LOL.

    Maybe I should try moving left/right with my left hand and use the arrow keys to rotate :tongue:
