Vancouver joins the MLS

edited March 2009 in General
I'm very excited about the WhiteCaps joining the MLS and about the work that is being done on BC Place stadium to house the games. When you look around SFU it's not hard to see that we have a very international community of students and residents here so obviously there is a strong interest in Soccer, one of the biggest and most global sports there is.

Great job by the Whitecaps. I hope they get that waterfront stadium built, it's an absolute embarassment that the city council won't allow a privately funded stadium be built, but are willing to piss away millions of taxpayers' money.
