I think it's important to take the effort to type properly on a regular basis because in a sense, it contributes to teaching regular formal presentation and communication.
I think you should talk to your TA before you go to your prof. Just go to him/her and be honest, not defensive or agitated and simply say you were expecting 80% and were confused as to why you recieved 70% and ask him/her to explain the reasoning behind the mark. Also keep in mind he/she is probably marking off a marking rubric, so if the scheme states you get a mark for having your student number and you didn't have your student number then its fair for him/her to deduct the mark. Alot of those kinds of useless points are on schemes for easy marks for students.
if u barely notice if u r typing normally vs. sloppy, why do u care if i type formally or not on a forum?
Because it makes it hard to understand what you are saying? Because it makes you look like a fucktard, which is presumably an unwanted side effect? Because you not even bothering to type out the word "you" indicates that you respect your reader so little as to not even do the the bare minimum in communicating your message?
Why not? It's quite easy to assume that when you are lazy on here that you are lazy when doing assignments so it is quite easy to see a connection that you most likely write like that in real life.
You wrote your last post at 1:22 pm and you still aren't typing properly.
When you type like an idiot it makes people think you are an idiot. It doesn't matter what time of the day it was, man up and learn to type properly.
My brother was the laziest guy I ever saw, hes a car forum junkie/ethusiast, and he somehow got a 4.0 gpa all four years while at SFU in the MBB program. To bad i'm not as smart, but you can see my point.
