Problems connecting to the internet on campus
Does anyone else have problems connecting to the internet at school or am I just terrible with computers? It seems I always have one of two problems on my laptop. I'll either get a message telling me that my connection has been dropped or if I can ever get to the log in screen and enter my id and password it will tell me that it can't establish a secure connection to the server. Eventually it will work but its annoying to log in 10 times hoping it will eventually let me on. Any ideas?

SFUNET-SECURE is a recently deployed network that supports 802.11a/b/g protocols as well as full WPA2/AES encryption. It also requires an 802.1x EAP/TTLS client for authentication rather than a web portal. While an initial setup process is required, users are encouraged to use SFUNET-SECURE where possible.

There was an internet 'hotspot' map of sfu before, I wonder if it's still around.
I will search later.
