    How could solar panels, and kinetic energy from wind and water have any negative effects in the future? Or are you referring to other green practices?
    im just sayn... dont forget CFCs seemed like a perfect molecule till we figured out it was eating up the ozone
    so ya other "green" practices and chemicals/materials by todays standards can be found to be harmful in the future..

    also i've talked with a geog prof who was doing research into the effects of wind mills on local climate (since they do slow down the air)

    ^ slow down air?? while that could be true at the very least, i can't help but lol out loud. LOLOL!!

    I don't think there is any reason not to be making use of solar panels en masse, maybe not as a sole primary energy source, but as a primary energy source supplemented by electronic.

    implementing solar panels en masse now would be stupid, they're discovering improvements in efficiency almost every week

    when they do find solar panels with 100% efficiency (dunno if thats possible) the old ones are just gunna be a huge waste of space and material

    lol i agree with using "alternative energy" I'm just presenting points from the other side since no1 else is... (comon if i someone wouldnt do it there would be no discussion here :P)

    personally i think geothermal energy is far more attainable then solar due to our massive lack in technology to capture solar energy

    @lazyguy
    there wouldn't be wasted space, last i checked the desert biome is expanding :P
    also they dont have to use solar panels per say... they could use mirrors ;)

    You could say the exact same thing about forms of energy now which are wasteful and pollute the environment which aren't maxmized to reduce pollution.

    Are you the kind of guy who never upgrades his computer because "the prices will be so much better in six months!"
