YES. I cannot wait. It's 3 hours long, so it's going to be interesting.
I accidentally read the plot description of the Watchmen Graphic Novel on Wikipedia yesterday, so I don't know if I will be going now that I know the plot. But hey, I am pretty sure it will be a great movie. Zack Snyder is a great director and the Watchmen is a great graphic novel. I heard this movie got some great costumes too, they really spent a fortune making everything look authentic and accurate to the period.

transformers was an avg movie at best, just decent effects and nostalgia factor
also saw rachell getting married and milk recently
hathaway was quite good in her role, she played a flawed character going through issues w/ identity and family (she smokes quite a bit too in the movie, which i heard she had picked up from the movie and quit recently?) there were some parts which were a bit slow for my taste showing the wedding festivities sing/dance stuf
penn certainly played his character well, and seeing james franco with a mustashe was funny, i imagined him breaking character and goin pineapple express a few times
most of the time I couldnt even tell what the fuck was going on, i just saw a lot of metal moving around and flying
A lot of people that I talked to on other forums also complain about the fight scenes. Almost all of them complain that they couldn't tell what's going on. Personally, I don't have any problem with the fight scene, but I can see where you are getting at. There are too much close-ups and "cool" camera shots.
I think this scene illustrates your point quite well.

P.S At least you didn't complain about the red flames on Optimus Prime.
Quarantine: sucked balls. almost identical to "cloverfield" including shakey cam and crappy ending
The Happening: about what you'd expect from m night shamalama. Interesting premise, otherwise boring, and disappointing end as always.
Changeling: sucked. way too long. I don't care that it was based on a true story, they should have changed the ending. either way would have been good, but I waited that long for that?
Seven Pounds: they revealed the ending in the first 5 seconds (no, really), and you should be able to fill in the rest of the gaps in the next 20 minutes. nevertheless, it was an interesting and touching movie.
Death Race: what you would expect.
Eagle Eye: about what you would expect.
Hancock: entertaining.
Lakeview Terrace: good, not excellent.
Momento: great
Next: quite enjoyable
Road Trip & Sex Drive: fun teen porno flicks
Snakes on a Plane: surprisingly entertaining. stupid yes, but at least it's not full of retarded teens that love to run towards danger
Lucky Number Sleven: excellent. was quite impressed
The Departed: also great
The Ruins: better than your average horror, but still mostly what you would expect
Thick as Thieves: disappointing. was expecting more from those actors. but overall still "good" i guess
Underworld 3: I didn't like the way the wolves looked in this one for some reason....knowing how it ends more or less also sucks a chunk of fun out of it.
Wall-E: one or two chuckles, mildly entertaining, and cute
Wanted: surprisingly good. impressed. trailers made it look like it was going to be extraordinarily over-the-top, but the "explanation" was satisfying enough for me. was a fun and thoroughly entertaining movie
The Prestige: quite good
Silent Hill: good. but i'm biased after having played half of silent hill 3
Fifth Element: pretty good for an old movie.....and no one can complain about milla jovavich running around half naked
Inside Man: quite enjoyed this one. clever and satisfying
Children of Men: a bit disappointing. i think they tried to be artsy and touching or deep... whatever that crap is... revealing of humanity... bah. didn't play out well with me.
My Blood Valentine 3D: quite good as far as horrors go. they didn't play that "zomg he's coming...no...no he's not" game. just straight in with the blood, guts, and tits. it even had a bit of suspense/mystery going for it... impressive. not impressed with how they resolved it though (been done too many times), but oh well.
The Pursuit of Happiness: mayhaps a bit slow, but entertaining and touching
Crash: surprisingly good. quite enjoyed this movie. some touching moments. yes, i've used that word a lot. watch them. you'll sniffle too :(
Saw 5: solved 4/6 of the puzzles in time......too bad the actors didn't. dumbasses. more or less what you'd expect out of the saws. not degrading any faster than before
I enjoyed Inside Man too. Although I enjoyed Thick as Thieves a fair bit more than you did it seems Just finished watching The Machinist, quite good. Ending explained a lot
Quarantine: i actually thought it was better than most hollywood horror movies. check out Rec [2007], and its .html"]trailer. it's exactly like quarantine but spanish and it came out earlier.
The Happening: Hey tree how's it going? I like your leaves they're cool. So you're a tree, huh? What's that about? Say hi to your mother for me.
Changeling: i like long movies. worth my money.
Eagle Eye: really? decipher somebody talk by the sound waves on the surface of a coffee drink thru a webcam?
Will watch and review the following movies, hopefully sometime before the end of the year: Night Train Valkyrie Bolt Butterfly on a Wheel Into the Wild What Just Happened The Quiet How to Lose Friends and Alienate People Derailed Fight Club Kiss Kiss Bang Bang The Shawshank Redemption

REC was excellent. I saw it at the VIFF the day before the remake hit theatres. They're making a sequel too.
Right, I still need to watch Fight Club. I can't believe I still haven't watch this movie even though I make the Rule 1 and Rule 2 of Fight Club joke often...
BTW, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was great. Robert Downey Jr. was hilarious in it.

^ What?? I thought everyone liked Chun Li... is it cuz she's Asian =o
Isn't almost every character in Street Fighter Asian, safe for a few? I have not played a Street Fighter game in over a decade, so I don't know if the newest Street Fighter added any non-Asian characters or kill off any Asian characters.
I was like 9 or 10 when I played those games with my cousins, what else do children have to do at that age? I think I was a bit too young to do anything cool.
Derailed was pretty good too from what i remember of it
and i didn't say The Ruins was great...just "better" than most horrors....because almost all of them are crap and follow exactly the same plot line. this one didn't stray...but those plants were creepy :p

The whole close-up shots really needs to die. The Bourne Ultimatum is guilty of this. It feels like it's done on purpose to hide some bad production.
Role Models: good comedy, couple of secondary characters are really bad actors
Swordfish:saw halle barry's boobs again lol

Night Train
Valkyrie
Bolt
Butterfly on a Wheel
Into the Wild
What Just Happened
The Quiet
How to Lose Friends and Alienate People
Derailed
Fight Club
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
The Shawshank Redemption
Probably in no particular order
Why not legend of ryu?

Wait isn't Ryu asian...kinda? I remember as a kid watching the movie with some of my cousins with him and Ken.
And student, Ken is definitely white.
Blanka...green?
Dhalsim, brown?
Kami is definitely white, same with that big muscly guy, same with guile.
I think Ryu is 100% Asian. Other Asians include Retsu, E. Honda, Sagat, Fei-Long, Akuma.
I was like 9 or 10 when I played those games with my cousins, what else do children have to do at that age? I think I was a bit too young to do anything cool.

I personally like shitty horror movies, but the ruins was like over the top bad, although the previews look good.
