DELL Latitude X1 12.1" Ultra-portable Lappy

Asking $500
(Full Specs): 12.1" Widescreen, 2.4 lbs, 1.28gb RAM, 30gb HD, Wireless IEEE 802.11 b/g, SD card reader, 2 USB ports
UPGRADES: Custom Painted Satin Blue, Ram: 1.28gb, Screen: glossy, Protection: ZAGG Invisible shield, Still under warranty!
Includes: 1 external cd/dvd-rw drive, 1 a/c adapter and 2x 3-cell & 1x 6-cell battery, fresh installation of Windows XP + SP3 before you buy it :)

I've used this baby for just over a year.
It runs whisper quiet, with a friendly full-sized un-cramped keyboard.
Definitely turns a lot of heads and catches attention.
We did a lot of customizations on this thing, so it's hard to let it go.
Guarantee you won't find another "souped up" ultimate ultra-portable lappy! =)

    Why is this so expensive? An eee pc 1000 series is selling for about $430 the last time I went to crystal mall.

    True, this is a good deal. An external optical drive would run you at least $60, and the batteries are pretty expensive too, probably another $100+.

    The way I see it, the performance advantages that this laptop has over the average netbook is the bigger screen size, full-sized keyboard, and apparently gigabit LAN (and I guess larger processor cache, not that it makes significant difference). Everything else is either on par or lacking in comparison unfortunately.

    All-in-all, it's a great buy if you want ultra-portability in a notebook without having to sacrifice screen real-estate and keyboard size. Oh yeah, and don't forget those boob images.
