Skytrain dance party...wtf

edited February 2009 in General
Wouldn't it look so weird if everyone is dancing to a different beat lol
This is a silent dance party on a skytrain. All participants come with their OWN MUSIC, on an ipod or mp3 player. We will get on the skytrain and one by one start dancing, until the whole train is dancing. And yet seemingly to no music

That sounds like some really stupid fun. I'll think about it, although Illuminate Yaletown is happening that night as well.

I wonder if the event is officially cancelled, as it's gone from Facebook.

If so, I'm guessing the media publicity kind of killed the whole flashmob idea.

I like this idea much better.

Yup, it was mentioned in the Peak. It was a bunch of environmentalists. They had someone yell into the microphone to initiate the flash mob so that kind of kills it.

I thought so. Which reminds me of chelsey armstrong's column, I really find thug talk quite bizarre on a university paper.

Looking at the Improv Everywhere photo gallery, I guess the silent party happened. *sigh, I guess*

Did anyone see a bunch of people outside on the east side of the AQ pretending to be statues on Friday? It was around 3:00.
