Burrows is officially my new hero

edited February 2009 in General
Did anyone see the Burrows goal last night? I'm not a big Canucks fan but I gotta give em props for the win yesterday...There was 1:30 left in the 3rd, Canucks are shorthanded and Kesler springs Burrows, who goes in alone with a tight deke and backhands the puck top shelf. Mannnnn that was amazing. I wish I could find a clip of it, def. a must see.

haha yeah the goal was pretty amazing although i did have my doubts when they took the late penalty. I was like " Oh No , here we go again " Seriously Kesler has been playing great lately :)

The goal was big, but the Sundin goal was way cooler, and more impressive.

Yeaa when Ohlund was in the box I'm like oh great, their going down again but Burrows finished it off with style...reminded me of the good old days when Bure would come flying out of nowhere for the amazing breakway goals. Sundin's goal was clutch too

It was a lucky shot, it was cool but nothing I would get myself wet over.

And I am pretty sure that his "Burrows tried to snap his stick after to symbolize the snapping of the long losing streak" was not symbolism of anything but him just celebrating getting a goal.

Maybe that's true but i sure didn't see him celebrate like that for the other 11 goals he scored this season so far. I don't think burrows is one to overly show off in a celebration. The only time i really saw something was the first game in calgary where he pointed up towards the sky to honour Bourdon after scoring and the carolina game.

Just thought i'll point that out
