Bought my first Apple computer today!

That's right, you heard correctly. I'm finally a cool dude with an Apple computer. Check out this sexy beast:

This is the base unit still in the box. Still looks like it's in good shape.

Yeah, it comes with a monitor stand. It doesn't get any more gangster than that.

Came with a bunch of programs to use. That guy on the front is working very hard at writing a revolutionary new Calculator program that can divide by zero.

So that's the un-boxing of my new computer. I'm going to fire it up and take a few more pictures. Hopefully the damn thing turns on. I'm going to install Crysis on it. It should look great.

    the older lower end macbook ya.. the pro has the nvidia m8600gt
    256 independent +256shared ram (to give u an idea i ran crysis on medium graphics on1280x720)
    i have the same card on my lappy (not a mac) and dare i say its one of the better mobile cards out there (except for the new 9000' series that just came out )

    the mbpro has the 8600m gt as i described... i know this cuz i played around with it b4 buyn my laptop with same card and specs for 1/2 the price...

    8600M GT Macbook Pro Driver for COD5?


    · Apple Macbook Pro (2.4 GHZ)
    · Nvidia Card N/A
    · VRAM: 256MB



    I have the September 2007 Macbook Pro and I'm running on Windows XP 32-bit, SP3.

    I'm having graphics issues with CoD5. The frame rates are noticeably lower and the game is generally laggy.

    The thing is, CoD4 works FINE on this laptop, so theoretically, CoD5 should too, given that they run on the same engine. And it's not like I'm playing with the highest settings.

    My settings for CoD5 are only a screen res of 1440x900 and everything is on low or normal.

    Are there any good drivers for this game?

    first off i never stated that i have a macbook. i was merely answering lazy's question because i know he has a macbook. second yes i am pretty sure i have an mbp. it has core 2 duo, 2 gb ram, 120gb hdd and a nvidia 8600.

    lastly please dont take every person on the internets as computer retarded. i've been working as a computer tech for 3 years so cut me some slack.

    i'm pretty sure i can tell the difference between an intel gma 950 in the macbook and a 8600 in a macbook pro. also if it helps my mbp is silver not white or black.

    also i got my mbp brand new for 600 bucks. so i dont think it was quite the rip off.
