Has anyone taken Econ 353 with Clyde Reed? Is he hard?

    No, I have not taken ECON 353, or any ECON for that matter.

    I did watch the end of an ECON 103 lecture one time and it seemed pretty easy as he was explaining how to calculate the slope of a line.

    oh ok but i heard that he is one of the worst profs in econ

    i am deciding whether to take this class with him or not...

    i actually like reed.. he was really straight forward in the 200 level course that i took.
    it is a hit or miss. some ppl hate him some ppl love him.

    i remember clyde, i took a 200 lvl course with him (dunno the #, the one with european history), his course was on the difficult side, but i enjoyed his class

    nothing really on the easy side when u hit 300 level econ, maybe the game theory and/or regional analysis

    353 is composed of a fair amount of writing, check the course outlines (previous/current), im sure its mentioned there
