Middle East Crisis
Currently, there is a conflict going on between Palestinians and Israelis. I don't understand why the whole world doesn't want to bring any lasting solution to this problem that has encapsulated the world attention for the last 6 decades. Can you imagine, in less than 2 weeks, 900 Palestinians died and 3690 wounded. Likewise to Israelis, they inflicted some very minor causalities.
What do you guys think?
What do you guys think?
Comments
Let them blow each other up until it's resolved, because no amount of outside intervention can change peoples moral convictions and make them think logically when religion is involved.
the palestinians/Hamas are angry because their land is occupied/run by Israel
Israel doesn't want to to give up the land, and a couple of weeks ago someone (no one knows who, most of the american media thinks Hamas fired a rocket, but recently cnn claimed Israel did) broke the ceasefire. So now Israel is sick of this shit and is beating the fuck out of the gaza strip. Meanwhile, Hamas keeps firing rockets into Israel at random.
Hamas also released a statement saying this whole fight was all about land and they want their land back. Religion is also a big factor though, apparently a lot of muslims hate jews, this might be applicable the other way around?
Americas playing a huge part in this too. They been supplying Israel with weapons and stirring up shit in the UN. I have no idea what their intentions are though....maybe looking to start shit with Iran?
"And learn the English language just to share your observation
Probably get a Grammy without a grammar education
So fuck you school and fuck you immigration"
Say something or shut the fuck up.
now don't get me wrong there are a lot of things the Palestinians are doing that i don't agree with, but they are NOT at fault...
WW2 ended and since no one wanted the Jews we kinda dumped them on someone else's land and said its theirs again cuz they "had" that chunk of land thousands of years ago... the fault here is on the major world powers who @ the end of WW2 decided that this would be the best way to get the Jews off their own hands
this is the biggest load of bullshit and if any "culture/civilization" got put into my country by some foreign power and told me my land is now theirs and they pretty much control me, id rebel with every breath within my soul to kick them the fuck out
Hamas should be the ones to start negotiations or propose a ceasefire. They're in no place or situation to be firing puny ass rockets at one of the worlds stronger militarys.....outside help would be needed cuz Israel is gunna be stubborn with the land
You said 'outside help would be needed cuz Israel is gunna be stubborn with the land'? Do you only see land or ethnic cleansing going on? More than 900 died in a matter of 3 weeks and only less than 10 Israelis died.
On the other hand, the US keeps supplying weapons and ammunition to Israel and at the same time acting as peace broker, isn't that a double standard way of sealing the reality and human suffering?
the world media makes anyone from the middle east seem like a bad person and throws the word terrorist around, yet in reality the terrorists are the Israeli and US politicians
the only way this conflict will be resolved is if Palestine gives up their land they've been living on because they simply dont have the funding or weapons to fight the Israeli who are fully backed and supported by the Americans
in other words ur sayn they should just suck it up and try not to stand out like a sore thumb for solely the fear of getting crushed by a more powerful nation
well... wouldn't that be nice? maybe they[Palestinians] should make like the Native Americans and keep moving west till their feathers float...
in my opinion if u love your family, neighbor and country u will stand up for them regardless of how the odds look
Im just saying it like it is, Israel looks intent on destroying Hamas and there not just going to stop and offer negotiations now. I dont really see any contradictions there.
This whole conflict is mostly to do with land. You can call it an ethnic cleansing if you want but i dont think Israel is doing this based on ethnicity.
the average joe citizens in Israel dont really want all the killing too.
i've met avg joe jews who hold the belief as their rabis that non jews are not "real" or "worthy" human beings... that just leaves me to believe that although they may not come out and directly support aggressions against people of a different faith they still support it on some level
although you are right on the surface of the fighting its the two extremes of each side fighting each other
Look, Israel should never have been created, and is in that sense totally illegitimate. But in their history, Israel has never been the aggressor. Even the taking of Gaza was a defensive move in response to all out war declared by every country that shares their border. In any Israel-Hamas conflict, there is absolutely no ambiguity whatsoever. Israel, while not perfect, is the better government, nation and culture.
BTW, I just found out today, slight tangent, that Hamas has actually reinstituted crucifixion as a method of execution. And people wonder whether they would have the mentality necessary to use families as human shields for their soldiers? It's all part of their ongoing attempt to turn the Western media into a pawn in their insane Islamist schemes.
But any country that is backed by the U.S. has an unfair advantage, IMO. I think that the U.S. should stay away from these conflicts that do not concern them.
that was a stupid comparison
Also, almost every invention that could be used to inflict harm and death to another human being has already been done extensively.
Though I would be pleased if I am proven wrong when we stop killing each other one day, but that should only happen after we solve the overpopulation problem. Israel not the aggressor? Really? How is Israel not the aggressor?
Israel were pretty much begging the Hamas to fire the rocket so they can have an excuse to go in. 8 civilian/military casualties in exchange for inflicting more than 1000, sounds a good trade to them. Think of the all the military experiences and the chance for the IDF to play with their American sponsored toys.
As for Hamas, war knows no rule and the biggest losers are women and children. Fighting clean and fair doesn't give you brownie points.
And it's not Israel's fault that the Palestinian rockets were not aimable. The fact is that they were firing many, many rockets, and blowing up a whole lot of shit. Israel should wait until their luck runs out and a lot of people die?
Some argue that Israel's treatment of Gaza prompted the rocket attacks, but unfortunately the vast majority of the accusations about their policies there are complete horse-shit, and the ones that are true are at least somewhat defensible.
You corner your adversary and don't be surprised when they bite back.
Israel's argument for keeping the refugee contained is a sound one: suicide bombers can easily mingle with the refugees if the border were open, better many dead Palestinians than one dead Israeli child.
there was no ww2 until the western world said fuck u hitler and decided to start ww2. until that point hitler had a free for all grab of any country
and what i meant by we wouldn't have the problem is cuz there would be no jews let alone Israel if hitler had had his way and ww2 hadn't occurred...
and that wouldnt be such a bad world to live in if u think about it, the axis powers have always made nicer and better cars then the allies ...
there is one huge flaw in your statement though
communism never made a good car....watch all of the new top gear season lol, im pretty sure the axis powers wouldnt be democratic countries right now if they were successful.
