Friendship in university?

Since most people don't make friends in lecture and stuff....where do you make friends? Who do you hang out with? People you already know or?

    Friends of friends too, parties.

    The only people I've ever made at University are people who have been in my Seminars and Tutorials, and maybe friends of theirs.
