Pealty for dropping

edited January 2009 in General
December 13 (Saturday) to
January 9 (Friday) Penalty of $50 for each class DROPPED (maximum total penalty $100) during this period, if your net class load has decreased
January 10 (Saturday) to
January 16 (Friday) Penalty of $100 for each class DROPPED during this period, if your net class load has decreased

This only applies if your course load goes from 5 courses to 4 courses right? What i mean is people that drop a course and add a course won't have to pay penalty. Also, does swapping courses relate to this penalty?

as long as you maintain the same number of courses there is no charge, it doesn't matter if you drop and then add a new class or swap classes.

Use the swap function, rather than dropping and then adding, and you won't eat the fee.
