Happy New Year!

edited January 2009 in General
Happy New Year TalkSFUers! After a cluster fuc* of a year that is 2008, let's hope that 2009 will bring some much needed relief.

Deep down, I consider New Year to be nothing special. We are just going from 2008 to 2009, that's all.

P.S Yeah, first thread of the year!

I wouldn't be worried about Y2KX though I would be worried about the *NIX Epoch. But we should be fine for that.

lol i was being serious tho
theres been big earthquake swarms in last couple of days (usually 1000-3000 earthquakes a day)
ive also read that theres a 45 km long caldera or sumthing (amount of magma under the volcano)
the earthquake swarms are supposed to be the last stage before a supervolcano explodes apparently
