Boxing Day

Surprised there wasn't already a thread about this haha. To everyone, did you go BD shopping, where, and what did you get?

I basically stayed in Richmond that day because I'm weaksauce when it comes to snowy weather. Picked up a couple hoodies but that's it.. is it just me or are BD sales getting worse and worse every year?!

    deals this year were god-awful, no lineups anywhere, you could get pretty much anything on the fliers even if you went in the afternoon.

    Stayed awake all night, went to FS at 6 am, picked up a 4 GB flash drive and an xbox 360 + a bunch of 360 extras.

    what are ppl's expectations are when it comes to boxing day? every year ppl say crappy deals, what are u basing this opinion on lol

    i bought a gh3 bundle myself from bb that i thought was a good deal

    Games for Jaydub to get for the 360: Bioshock, Mass Effect, GTA4, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, Braid, NHL09, The Darkness.

    Don't worry, I know about those. I already have GTA 4, and NHL 09 plus Mirror's Edge, Battlefield Bad Company, Deadspace, Halo 3, Guitar Hero III, Stranglehold, Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones.

    I also want to get Rockband, Guitar Hero II and Too Human, on top of what you have already mentioned.

    I played through Mirror's Edge already and it was really good.

    I'd skip Too Human, it's pretty terrible.

    I wanted to go to Pacific Centre but my car isn't too great in the snow, so I stayed in my area and went to the Whiterock strip malls. Mexx had a great sale (50% off everything) so I stocked up on work clothing there.

    lol i went to the same mexx sale, but during christmas shopping

    jay ud be better off with guitar hero world tour over rockband, i just bought it and its much better
    ps my list of games to burn right now : prince of persia, mirrors edge, dark sector, fallout 3, gears 2, oblivion (1st copy got fucked b4 i could finish the game) fable 2
    i need 3 more games b4 i pay some guy to burn em lol, any recommendations?

    well i guess i'm part of the greedy bunch.. it wasn't just boxing day shopping for me.. more like boxing week.. =x i spent my boxing day at metro and by gawd it was chaotic!! i was only able to get a long trench coat for just $100 which was a killer deal.. X) mexx had great deals going on.. my brother managed to snatch 2 pairs of jeans for $35.99 and a tie for 29.99..=D
