i have a friend who took the class. She told me this.
:S not sure what exactly happened but first the TA emailed everyone in the class and said "If you want to appeal, you may contact Steven ASAP to arrange a meeting either in person or by" then Pearce emailed us twice, 2nd email with topic: STOP EMAILING "It is now in the hands of the department due to the overwhelming number of involved." i feel kinda bad for the TA and Pearce though since i do feel that this course is just too hard to be taught DE
He sounds like an asshole, if such a large amount of people had done it maybe he should have made the rules more explicit instead of ruining peoples academic experience. I'd feel awful if i were a first year and ran into something like that
In my class most of us borrowed the code from each other that was posted on the forums...noone was like "HERES THE FINISHED CODE"...but everyone was so confused people kept pasting bits here and there that you could just mix and match and do it.
I would've posted my code on WebCT if I wasn't warned by one of the TAs. I posted my code somewhere else.
You get sent to elementary schools and get to play teacher for a week.
Take CMPT165.
I already have, this is a intro class though so im not sure if they would sent us to schools. I have a really good prof though according to ratemyprofessors.
I got an A with less than 3-4 hours total spent on the course outside of class time. I went to class one day only to find out we had a second quiz (mini midterm, 15%) and I had ZERO idea it was that week, so I had done zero studying or reading, and I still got 37/50. I literally had no idea about half the questions and just used basic logic and educated guessing. The MC is just so easy.

guys, desperately need a suggestion with an elective course to take - hopefully easy, I've already taken IAT 100, IAT 102, and i can not take CMPT 165.

What are my options that you guys suggest?
If you found the IAT classes easy, try IAT 202? It's video.
