Is it out of 4.33 like UBC?

    what? i dont get it.. my current gpa is 3.170, it cant be out of 10.

    one more thing, i took compsci120, math157, econ105, and engl101w last semester. i've got official grades for math157, econ105, and engl101w.. but there's no official grade for compsci120. why is that?

    Because you failed.

    They didn't even bother to post your mark. It's below an F. 3.170/10 is 31.7%.

    we are on the 4.33 scale. No grade means they're not done counting it.

    Yeah definitely, if your grade is not posted it is either because they caught you cheating and they will contact you soon, otherwise you failed.

    And yes our GPA's are out of 10, so currently I have a 8.6 GPA. A 3.17 is a definitely a bad GPA, it is probably because you failed CMPT 120.

    GPA of 3.17? Man, how are you not on academic probation with such a terrible GPA?

    As for the blank 120 mark, maybe you didn't get Diana's most recent e-mail. She said the grades aren't posted yet for people who failed because they're stalling -- they need to explain to the Dean why so many people failed the course this term. Sorry to hear.

    UBC doesn't use GPAs, they use percentages. Really annoying when you're comparing marks.

    And the few uses of GPAs that they do have, isn't it 4 not 4.33???

    A+ = 4.33
    sfu uses 4.33

    That's for the arts, business, education and contemporary arts. For the applied sciences and the natural sciences it is a bit lower.
