ECON 110 - anyone taken it?

edited December 2008 in General
Hi,

I'm really looking forward to my first semester at SFU. I've already taken ECON 103 / 105 and am considering 110. After reading the course description & general syllabus, it seems to be completly different from the first 2 courses; 110 is more of a history and writing class?

Has anyone taken ECON 110 that can give me some perspective on the assignments, lectures and course in general?

Thanks!

You do NOT want to take this course, unless you're worrying about your gpa being too high.

This is like a history of economics course where both the lectures and readings are extremely boring. The concepts aren't difficult to grasp and it won't include any of the complex math involved in other econ courses (which is why I thought I'd do great in it).

Like any other writing course, don't take it unless you're good at writing or you're gonna get screwed by mood swinging TAs that mark your essay based on how they're feeling.
