[QUOTE=mrbubbles;43560] Dictators, no matter how evil, don't set out to kill everybody or make everyone's life miserable.
dude,do you know what dictatorship is?do you know how many people Stalin killed? and all the other dictators?do you know how it is, not to be able to speak your mind?your phone to be listened to?your neighbors to be informers and sometimes rat you out just because they want a better job,a better position..and for you to do prison.....in most of the communist countries the educated people were sent to prison or they were unemployed.....and kids got graded in school not because they were smart, but because they re parents were with the leaders...do you trust to go to a doctor who got his grades and his degree because his mom or dad was in the communist party?...what dictator in this world did something good for his country?....all they brought was fear.... i worked one summer in Belgium with refugees from Africa.....just hearing out they're stories...what they've been through..and how much they miss they're families(but they know if they go back they will end up dead)...does not make it ok...at all...and dictators make almost everyone's life miserable
i do not agree at all with what bush is doing but i do not agree with dictatorship either
i also think that in a few years no one will remember that someone threw shoes at bush.....

Perhaps you should look up the term dictatorship. Ever heard of the term benevolent dictatorship? Dictators don't set out to make people's life miserable. Not all dictatorships have the same agenda.

Ok not all dictators have the same agenda but Saddam had an agenda to "torture and kill whomever he wanted to ". Now if you really think Iraq was a better place before the west moved in to protect the civilians then do some research and why not go to Iraq and speak to the people who lost their children, families their arms and legs just because they had a different opinion than the one saddam and/or his friends had.
If that journalist had dared thrown a shoe even at saddam's servent then he(journalist) would have "For Sure" gotten a hot burning 3 feet rod in his anus because that was saddams government favorite past time hobby. And not to mention what insults his(jounalists) siblings, parents, children, cousins must have received.
