few pointers to the mods to ease your life when making event sign-up threads... keep the FIRST post updated with the latest details on venue and time and a list of who's going it will make your job and everyone elses life easier
also for everyone else the "norm" on forums for signups are to quote the person above u with a list of names who are attending and add yours at the bottom, that way the mods only have to look @ the last post to get an updated list of people attending...

if people follow the 'quote the last person' to update the list method the mods will always know as the most updated list will be around the last post
now say someone decides to not go anymore they just quote the last person and remove their name from the list, works for insert/delete :omg:

Sorry, forgot to mention, for those of you coming to my place and skipping out on dinner, I live at *address removed*. From Lougheed, you can take several busses, 156, 151, 97, or C24. You get out at the stop at Foster and North Rd, walk up North Rd a bit more, and it's on the righthand side.
I am not confident with my driving ability (plus the weather), however if Fiona needs a lift, I can offer her a lift.

I plan to arrive at Joey's at 5:50- 6:05 to reserve spot with Peter, Jane, and Josh, so I will probably be leaving at 5:15 (to give myself some time). Also, I won't be going to MB's place after the meet-up, is that ok with you?
i can meet you at terra nova at 5 since it's close to you.. and that's alright.. i have plans the next day so i don't think i'll be staying at Peter's place either.. so we're good to go!!
