... is released on Friday and I am hopefully in it. I was in two scenes as an extra but I totally snuck on the set.

    Mod, shouldn't this be in the Entertainment session?

    Seeing SFU on the big screen is fun, but I will probably watch Punisher: War Zone first before I even consider watching this movie.

    Meh... a second Punisher movie? Really? The first was alright but they don't often do a good job of comics to movie.

    first punisher was terrible... the 2nd one looks like it will be even worse...

    Has anyone ever seen Secret Agent Cody Banks with Frankie Muniz? The setting for the CIA "headquarters" is actually the AQ Pond and it has all these CIA agents cruising around on Segways

    Not yet, however I have read from good-old Wikipedia that Secret Agent Cody Banks is filmed on SFU.

    Since we are in the mood to name movies SFU starred in, I will add more.

    The 6th Day starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. SFU is featured in a chase scene where Arnold drove a car off the AQ stairs into the Convo Mall.

    There are multiple scenes from Battlestar Galactica shot in AQ. The President of Earth walks across the pond (with a nice digital removal of Terry Fox!!) at one point. They did a ton of shooting there, and even more in the woods around SFU.

    You think more movies are filmed at SFU, or at UBC?
    There's quite a bit of filming at UBC...
    All SFU gets are sci-fi flicks haha.

    The Butterfly Effect was filmed down here at UBC and I think Goodwill Hunting was too?

    the movie kinda sucked, jayden smith or whatever the little (will smith) kids name is sucked horribly....kinda wanted to kick his football shaped head

    That kid was terrible. It's so annoying that someone has a celebrity parent and somehow they get acting chops. I couldn't tell if his character was supposed to be so dislikable or if it was just his acting skills, but I think it was the latter.

    I was hoping the kid would get killed at several points and the wish never came true.

    I watched it... it wasn't THAT bad... I don't remember seeing JayDub though.

    I don't think you're black enough to be mistaken for Will Smiths son, the movie was okay, but it would have been better without the kid or someone else as the kid.

    I only went so I could see SFU.

    When I get the dvd or a good quality download of the movie I will screenshot it and circle me in red with MS paint just to prove I am in it.
