If it helps, in all seriousness, try Co-Op or if your GPA isn't high enough you could try the various temp employment offers around SFU. :)

1) Special Projects Food Bank Coordinator

We are hiring a Special Projects Food Bank Coordinator for Spring 2009 term. The Coordinator will oversee the running of the Food Bank and supervise Food Bank volunteers, as well as research and develop specific outreach initiatives. For more information, see the job description.
It is posted online at the bottom of this page: http://students.sfu.ca/foodbank/helpingfoodbank/index.html
To apply, please write a cover letter and resume, and drop off to Student Development at MBC 2000 or email to food-bank@sfu.ca by Friday, January 9th at noon.

2) Work Study: Orientation Evaluation assistant

Hey Kevin when I was looking for employment, these sites were a handy way to see what was available and figure out what I was interested in pursuing. I keep hearing a lot that its getting harder and harder to find a job due to the weak economy, but if you know what you want then it's just a matter of persistence before you land a job. Check these out:

good luck!

Celebrities is hiring for male Go Go dancers, wanna give it a shot? Good pay =D

I would go far any SFU job you can get. They pay higher than any min wage job you'll find outside of SFU. Envelope stuffers get paid 10.29 I think at SFU. Even if you cannot get into the temp pool, if you just apply at postings you might get lucky.

I think it is all in the presentation of your resume, if you have anything remotely administrative put it in, like answering phones, filing, etc.
