The Day the Earth Stood Still

edited December 2008 in General
Saw it, it was OK. Not terrible, not great. BUT, there's a cool scene shot around the rotunda/stairs to the convo-mall that's pretty cool, and another shot in one of the organic chem labs in South-Science Center.

Will Smith's son was probably the worst part of the movie, the writing not the acting. The plot didn't cash in on the potential of the premise at ALL. The original was better. Still, it's not a waste of time, worth seeing for cheap/free. Worth downloading, just to check out the SFU scene.

Didn't see you. Were you an extra?

    Yes.

There were two scenes I was in. The first was everyone was walking up across the field to the GYM / Rotunda. The camera pans by and I am walking across the road near the security office. Tall guy, brown hoodie.

The second was the scene everyone was entering the "military base", going up the rotunda stairs. I am at the base near the tree walking up the stairs, behind jeniffer conellyish, ten metres or so. That's where some guys point her out and they bring her up.
