Official Christmas Meetup

You are cordially invited to the end of 2008 Christmas TalkSFU meetup... well not you over there, but you the reader. The plan is as follows.

On SATURDAY DECEMBER 20TH we will meet up at a restaurant, 7 PM (19h00 for you Europeans). The restaurant being Boston Pizza on Lougheed near the Brentwood Mall (unless people object), to eat, drink, be merry and watch the Canuck game.

After we will head over to MB's (who needs to give directions n' shit) where we will proceed to consume adult beverages.

If you plan to come, please say so here and I will make reservations a few days before.

    I'm coming. Depending on my schedule, I might not make it to dinner but I'll definitely be able to make it for drinks!

    Wait wait, sorry, one minor change if possible. Would we NOT do BP this time? I'm really sick of that. I'm sure other places will have the game playing, and would be nearby Brentwood. We could do the Keg again. But yeah, NOT BP, PLEASE.

    Fo sho, suggest a place, preferably that plays the game and we will decide via popular vote. I know near Brentwood there is Milestones, Catcus Club, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, iHop but I don't think any of them play the hockey game.

    Joey's is close to my place. We could go there, I'm sure they'd have the game on. You could always call and ask. Joey's would actually be pretty good, haven't been there in a while.

    There's a BubbleWorld on the way back from Joey's to my house actually. You don't have to be drinking to hang out afterwards. I assume we'll be doing other social activities, like talking, playing games/video games, etc.

    I don't have a Wii. Just a PS3, PS2, PC, DS, and PSP. If somebody wants to bring a Wii, they're more than welcome.

    I have a wii... but it's not made by nintendo.

    I would just like to say... that since it is a christmas meetup, if someone wants to bring me a gift of a belt that would be awesome. I ripped mine in half so now I don't have one. I walk around all the time looking like a ganger with his pants down to his knees. So I can look like that at the meetup, or I can wear rowing spandex.

    While it is not exactly a gift because giving someone used clothes is not good in my book, but I do have an extra belt in my room right now. Would you like to borrow it until you get a suitable replacement? I can deliver it to your TH first thing early today.
