No offence to you thank you for sharing this video with us
    but that
Old standup comedian looks very arrogant talking like that about this century's environmental crisis just because he is not going to live for more than 50 years from now

I don't believe in global warming is a result of us. The earth has been naturally warming and cooling since the beginning of time (6,000 years ago) and nothing we do is going to have an effect on it.

Wait...wait wtf? Is my sarcasm meter broken...?

@hypor: That's George Carlin. His comedy act usually involves him bitching and ranting about our rotten society. It's funny because everything he says is pretty spot on and incredibly depressing.

you forgot to mention Carlin passed away this year...

and random side note if you believe the IPCC contains facts that "the worlds leading scientists collaborating to come to a consensus" you my friend are one ignorant son of a bitch
what pisses me off most about these "save the planet" hippies is that most of them know very little about climate and they are simply fueled by lies spread by media and al gore

I didn't imply that. I was referring to JayDub's post about Earth being 6 thousand years old.

As for the book central thingy, how are you planting trees? You are aware that paper used to make those books comes from harvested trees?

We will donate 25% of our profit to one of our partners

so you take a cut from transactions?? why the heck should we use that site then, when there's so many out there that don't add a premium?
  • edited November 2008
I was going to use your site, but if you take a cut, I don't think so. Take your business elsewhere.

I don't know about others, but I actually prefer it when the profits of my textbook dealers go towards increasing greenhouse gases, tearing down forests, and killing innocent animals. So you just lost my business, you tree-hugging hippie.
