Anybody taken BUS 272 with Brenda Lautsch or Stacey Fitzsimmons or Sinan Caykoylu? Just wondering if they were good profs and what their teaching styles/exams were like. Thanks!
I had it with Sinan this semester. He's a pretty laid-back professor...typical from-the-textbook powerpoints, multiple choice exams, etc. Personally, I didn't really like the class, but he's a pretty relaxed guy.
Sinan is useless. Doesn't teach. Gives standard lec slides that don't go into detail at all, yet he chooses exam questions from the textbook-provided question bank...which, you guessed it, require a great deal of detail.
basically you're on your own, and it's essentially a distance ed course. Know the text front to back and you're golden.
i took it with Stacey Fitzsimmons. nice prof. easy to score if you can memorize stuff well. mt and finals are MCQs and answer 4 out of 6 short answer questions . lots of group activities/discussion during lect and she give marks for attending tutorial.

a good prof might be a bonus, but most of the time you won't even need to go to lec as long as you do your readings and memorize the textbook.
