Halloween costumes + plans

edited October 2008 in General
I can't believe there isn't a topic on this! Or maybe nobody here celebrates Halloween?

Anywho, I did buy a french maid costume lastnight but it's just super generic and it was totally last minute and was bought under pressure. I'm going to be a Playboy bunny instead. The only problem I'm having is getting out of the house and Skytraining in the outfit... I'll be going to the club crawl tomorrow night, Fabric on Saturday, then pole dancing lessons and a burlesque show on Sunday night. Should be good!

This year should be really good. I bet there's gonna be a ton of Jokers. I also know some people dressing up as Barack Obama and Sarah Palin. My friend's friend is gonna go as Goku from Dragon Ball Z and my TA mentioned she was the morning after girl last year which I found was absolutely hilarious.

What're you guys being and what're your plans?!?

You can always wear some sweatpaints or sweatshirt over your costume until you get to safer area.

Woot, WHY SO SERIOUS? Let's put a smile on that face!

I was planning to dress up as a McCain Campaign volunteer who was attacked by a 6'4 Black Man who happens to be a Obama Supporter and have a "B" carved onto my face. However, since hardly anyone get the joke, I will not be dressing up.

I may or may not dress up as a bottle-o-Coke. I have this promotional head-sized bottlecap that I would wear as a hat and then dress in black or brown.

I'm kind of worried about the hazards of being at a party/bar/club wearing a giant piece of metal on my head.

You know, "Cheers! - ", or "hey, I bet I can open my beer of your head".

Go right ahead. I hope you have some McCain/ Palin stickers and buttons handy. And remember the "B" has to be backward.

No. The pole dancing lessons is somewhere on Davie and Burrard, above Celebrities and the burlesque show is going to be at Maxine's Hideaway in the West End. I haven't seen their Sunday night shows yet but I'm hoping it'll be really fucking hot.
