Will it affect my Transfer? would they be like "this dudes a moron he withdrew"
My intention is takign the W now, and taking that course next semester... so I was wondering if the W is replaced with the A (yes high standards) or ???
Yeah i'm planning on transferring to UBC by september :D
Last day to drop a class using the Student Information System, with a WD notation on your academic record. October 6 (Monday)
Last day to apply to drop classes in the current term under extenuating circumstances. (Applications received after this date will be considered retroactive and may take longer to process.) November 26 (Wednesday)
Me and you both bud. I really want to drop BUS 336 right now but I don't think I have a case.
i wanted to drop too but I didnt want a WE on my transcript. I think even though they withdraw u, u still get 0/3 credits so u paid ur money for the course for nothing. i had to suck it up and continue with my classes after grandma passed away and mom going in surgery
agree with the person above.. if it's becoming difficult to focus on school (which i'm sure it must be) withdrawing isn't such a bad idea.. especially for things like family issues.. they constitute as extenuating circumstances.. the school will understand..
Hey, Iran, dunno if this'll still help. But basically one or two W's on your transcript is fine, but if you have a constant habit of withdrawing from a course, then it'll be a problem.

I mean, if you're only going to withdraw cause you're doing poorly in the class and might fail... that'd be different.
the moment you do it, the skies will be overcome by blackness and God will SMITE YOU!
i have 2 courses and i wanna drop one but i dont know if its Extenuating circumstance.
