When is your enrolment date and what classes do you plan on taking - Spring 09

edited November 2008 in General
Every semester, this topic is made. So the questions are, what are you planning on taking and when is your enrolment date?

For me, my enrolment date is on November 20 at 9:30. Not only is it's a pretty late date, but it is also the same date and time as last year when I am enrolling for Spring 2008. Yeah, so a big FUC* YOU to Student Diservice because I was hoping to get into my history and humanities courses that I want and need.

I have not really decided on what I want to take, however, I do want to take HUM 302, HUM 330, HIST 467, and HIST 485.

As a quick note, I am a third year student with 66 credits.

If there is any sort of justice in the world, then I would hope the first day is November 10. If not, I hope someone would snaps one day and go Virginia Tech on everyone in Student "Service."

But seriously, Primexx and Flora should know. They always register first because of their scholarship student status.

3rd Year student with 68 credits. Looking at 83 after this semester.
My enrolment date in 20 Nov @ 12:30.

I am not sure what I am taking, I think I am only going to be taking courses on T/R so I can go to Whistler up to five times a week, so I will probably end up taking 3 DE courses.

As well there is CMPT 411 - AI Knowledge Representation.

    Other courses I might take are HIST 106, MATH 380, ENGL 104, CRIM 300, CRIM 315, CRIM 356, CRIM 402, 413.

lol this is ridiculous!!!! i mean it's bad enough for me that most of the courses i need/ want to take aren't offered next sem...and now im pretty much like last at enrolling -_-

Mine is Nov 25th at 12:30.

I don't understand the whole "enrollment date panic" that sweeps through the school every semester. I've never once had a problem getting into a class I wanted to take. Then again, I don't take crim or business courses, which seem to have the most competition.

  • edited October 2008
I thought about doing CMPT 475 next semester for a brief moment since I like when it is scheduled. Then I realized how much I hated 275.

y would u hate 275? i think all said and done i enjoyed that class, not to mention its prob one of the more useful cmpt classes u can take (next to 370 w/ Dan Ridinger)

Definitely must be a joke. Only something a business student / code monkey would say. 370 sounds just as bad, information systems, no thanks, I'd rather study AI.
