edited October 2008 in General
F'N PIECE OF GARBAGE, DOWN ALL DAY AND CAN'T GET S#IT DONE. SERIOUSLY, THIS SCHOOL HAS SOME BAD SERVICE. WHATS THEIR STUPID SLOGAN? "THINKING OF THE WORLD"? SPIT ON THEM, MORE LIKE THINKING OF THE MONEY. GREEDY ASSHOLES.

THIS SCHOOL WAS HIGHLY REGARDED AT A ONE POINT SUPPOSEDLY AND THEY CAN'T EVEN GET THEIR LIBRARY S#IT GOING.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASSHOLES.

Speaking of library, I got a book that is due yesterday and I returned it to the library yesterday. They sent me a mail today saying that I didn't return it...

What a bunch of stupid fuc*s.

There may be some stupid-fuck-ery going on there but I'm not sure it's on the part of the library.

Think about it. When you return a book, that book goes into a giant pile of other books. Now, either some person or some machine has to go through each book and check it off, then put it back on the shelf. Is it not possible that you returned the book but they hadn't gotten around to checking it off as returned yet? You can't expect them to instantaneously know that you returned your book unless they have some sort of gps tracking system in place.

Well, I actually visited the Book Sorting Room today and, even though I clearly deposited the book into the book return chute, they don't have the book there. So either they are trying to scam me for a new text and late fee by hiding the book away somewhere or the book was stuck in the chute. Either way, I am not paying for the late fee or a new textbook to these con-men.

Update: Well, I suspect that they might have shelved my book without checking it back in. Therefore, I went up to where my book should be and guess what...

It is sitting right on the shelf and didn't get checked back in. I took the book and went to the sorting room and give them a good one before heading to the counter and too give them a good one.

    SFU HOMEPAGE:

    LIBRARY WEB
    ACCESS PROBLEM

The SFU Library's website and associated online services are unavailable due to network hardware problems. At this point (6:45 p.m. Wednesday) we do not know when access will be restored. Please watch here for further info as it becomes available. Other library services continue as usual.

I don't know what you're talking about. The library is clearly online. It's right here. Just look at it!

Ether, I think he maybe refering to the problems the library website encountered today. The library website was lagging like fuc* early this morning until the evening. In fact, it may even be possible that my "overdue" issue was caused by this glitch.

You mean the kind of person that procrastinates until the last minute? I think 50% of students do that.

well if it's an early research.. what are you so upset about that you have to type in CAPS? surely you've got a few days to spare if you really did start early... that's unfortunately the downside with using online services.. give it some time..

I'm so sorry you're not smart enough to get into a better school and have to settle for a bottom of the chart crap school like SFU.
Maybe if you were born a little later this wouldn't have happened. Better luck next life!

Screw the online library services. What the hell was up with the library today!?? ALL printers were down?! I seriously got fucked in the ass today, not fun.

I totally forgot my abstract and thesis were due at the beginning of lecture today (my fault). Luckily, I came to class 10 minutes early. So, I'm running from WMX to the libary, got a computer fast enough, sent off my print job, and ALL THE FUCKING PRINTERS are down. What the F. So I run all the way back to WMX and down one flight of stairs to the lab and print it out there. I end up 5 minutes late for class and also "one day late" for my abstract/thesis. LAME!!!
