Mens "beauty" products...

edited October 2008 in General
No gay.

Let's make this thread the thread for male grooming as well as specific products we use (and perhaps recommend) for our hair/skin/face.

I use:

- Alberto Hair wax and Pomade for hair.

- Neutrogena (or however you spell this) Oil wash thingy (orange in colour)

- Christian Acuna "Eye Repair"

- Body wash - mainly whatever my sister buys, i smell like coconuts.

- Shampoo - again, whatever my sister buys for herself - makes my hair smell like some exotic garden of some sort.

- I SHAVE everywhere - basically hairless except for my goatee and head. (yes also nutsack, via 5 blade razor)

Yourselves?

Well maybe you should change the title from Beauty so it doesn't sound...gay

I'd go with style or pimp juice haha

Man you are pretty gay with all that shit you use. Plus a goatee just makes you more gay.

I just use green soap, pert shampoo and some deodorant.

....I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack.... After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

You can think that if you want to justify using more beauty products than a woman

Nothing wrong with using beauty products brah.

    You insecure?

Am I the only one who takes a shower at night? I hate that "wet-ish" feeling I get after I shower. I feel so exposed for some reason. Besides, I want sleep.

I use a moisturizer that my mom ordered from some specialty company. I've been using for over 6 years now, and my skin feels pretty smooth. By the way, does anyone know any other brands of moisturizer that doesn't make your forehead really shiny?

I've always been afraid to take a blade to my nutsack.... how exactly do you do that? Dunno bout yours, but my nuts are all wrinkly n shit. How do you *not* cut em?

I've used Nair for Men once..which you aren't supposed to do, but I didn't have any real problems with it. I suggest avoiding the anus though.

Use a womans razor. Those don't cut your sack. I've tried a mens razor but it was a bloody disaster (literally)

Are we all serious about this prep time business?
It takes me 20 minutes to get ready, no shower. About an hour with a shower, including blow drying and straightening.
