There's been a lot of wheelin and dealin going on lately so I had to get your guy's opinions on some of this stuff. First of all, Marion Hossa signing with Detroit was a huggee shock to me. I can understand that he wants to win the cup, but why would you switch sides to your rival from the Stanley Cup finals?! That's a slap in the face to your teammates and a pretty big risk becaue Pittsburgh is set to have another solid season next year. And whats with this offer that the Canucks made to Sundin? Think he'll actually want to come play here? I would love to see it but I doubt it would happen...hmm what else...

    from what i hear, sundin has offers from like 5 different teams, and if the Canucks cant acquire him with all the cap room they have, its safe to say that the management is pathetic. I also think that all the money there offering to sundin should be directed somewhere else...20 million for a 37 year old???
    But the whole Hossa thing is pretty shocking but i doubt his former teammates are offended, he played there for not even a whole season.

    so naslund is gone to new york.... im not to sad to see him go, our team needs some big changes.

    The problem is behind the bench, not on the ice. That's why Naslund was so eager to get out of here.

    Yea I can't believe Jagr kicked it to Russia! $11 million per season is good but I think there was more than that behind the decision...his pops is building an ice hockey arena there so he wanted him there plus thats his home. Gonna miss him though...

    Bertuzzi got signed to a 1 year contract in Calgary!

    Back in uh, 98? Keenan (coach and GM at the time iirc) traded Linden to NYI for Bertuzzi
    Fast forward to 2005, Keenan (just GM) traded Luongo to VAN for Bertuzzi
    Now, Bertuzzi signs in Calgary to play for Keenan (just coach)

    i think it was kinda dumb to throw out such a big offer to sundin (not knowing beforehand if he was gonna accept)

    trying to overpay for his services, and he doesnt even seem interested
    even had we gotten him, makes us what.. a fringe playoff team at best

    All i know is the canucks will barely scrape into the playoffs if they're lucky, and the washington capitals will win the cup: end of story :D
