I hate electric razors, or mine just sucks. Everytime I shave, my skin gets irritated and I'll have red patches around my mouth. It looks like I have herpes or some kind of STDs.

Ineffective. The leg hair tends to be too long and the electric razor would just move over the hair without cutting it. Your best bet would be, like Iran1988 said, a razor.

You know, Rodrigo Santoro, the guys who played Xerxes I in 300, had to undergo a full body waxing for his role. This could be an option you may want to consider.

ive always used a razor in the past, it just gets annoying getting nicks and cuts, i think ill just stick to waxing

Since we are onto shaving, what are your opinion of guys shaving their armpits and leg hairs? Personally, I found shaving my armpits to be ok. In fact, I think it is essential that you shave your armpits before wearing tanktops.

Nicks and cuts!? The worst I ever got from shaving using a razor was skin irritation afterward.

Well I don't imagine on your face you have as many curves or long stretches to shave.

There was actually a thread solving questions about hair removal, here are some of the rules:

NO hair on your back, thats always gross.

Everywhere else can basically be trimmed, I think guys who shave their armpits kinda look weird, and I wouldn't reccomend wearing tank tops at all.

Some girls like nearly everything shaved but I do not care.

I did that once... before I vacationed to Bermuda / Caribbean.

Since this is going to go towards the inevitable:

How do you guys shave your pubes?

I mean ballsack and everything? I find it extremely hard to do so, usually I take a 5 blade gilette to it, gives me a smooth nutsack except i almost always get small little cuts afterwards that hurt more or equal to pushing a baby out of your vag. (strong assumption)

Why shave your pubes in the first place? Doesn't that cause you a lot of ingrown hairs and itching? Just trim or wax

    waxing your pubes fucking hurts.

trimming a persian mans pubes just angers the beast.

haha well i know someone who plucks their ball hair
he's asian though so maybe he only has like 5 hairs cuz i figure it would take forever

and shaving arm pits? haha fag

anyways i only have to shave every 5 days so i use some gillette razor, haha. i love it

and for the pubes, try snorting a bunch of ketamine then waxing them, you won't feel a thing then, haha

that is true.. you aren't the first guy to say this.. my friend's boyfriend always used her blade whenever he stayed over for the night.. it pissed her off so much that she bought a woman's blade for him and told him to stay the hell away from her blade..

but yeah.. he's been loving it ever since..

On this topic, has any girl bedded a guy with shaved leg before? Rubbing my smooth leg against another female's smooth legs is just heavens.

Yes, a furry patch in the armpit doesn't look weird at all. /sarcasm

Dude, why don't you just trim down to 0.2-0.5mm? Going for the pornstar look?

Again, I just said trim everywhere, it looks more funny when a guy doesn't have hair there because everyone knows guys do. I just find it kinda of feminine when I can ask a guy tips on how to shave armpits.

Are you serious about the shaved leg thing? Unless a guy is like shaving his legs daily, the stubble is just 'pokey'. Thats what is annoying about guys shaving their body cause then they just become like a cactus when they dont keep the shaving up.

Strictly on the razor blade thing, I have to admit I sometimes take way too long between blade changes, because I just tend to forget. I don't know how long you're officially supposed to change them, though. I usually realize I need to change the blade when I'm shaving (my face, you gits :P ) and the blade seems to "drag" a bit.

    Day 2

Went for a really close (face) shave today and I can't tell the difference from a straight-razor (super smooth). Applied aftershave and went for 30 seconds in cold shower. 4 hours after there is zero irritation like I used to have.

Concerning shaving the basement, electric shavers infinitely decrease the risk of accidentally castrating yourself and decrease irritation (claim to be put to the test soon)

Are we talking about shaving pubes? Gillette Venus Breeze works great.

If someone can grow that much hair in one single 24 hour span, that person should give up hair maintenance altogether and wax instead. Don't you have homo/metrosex guy friends with shave legs? It looks way better (exception applied for dudes with stick legs), and has way more appeal.

Same here. No difference between razors and electric. Then again, I'm not a hairy sasquatch, my chest is smooth, and I only need to shave a third of my face and chin compared to a typical white dude. I don't do the silly aftershave crap either, just plain electric.

Real men don't care what other men do to themselves. The first step to being a homo is telling how other men should behave. Since you don't know the underlying reasons for shaving legs (and other body parts), it's premature to make judgment.
