multi media/info tech teacher.. CS or SIAT?

edited September 2008 in General
I wanna become a multi media teacher... i want to xfer in from college to the appropriate SFU faculty after two years to finish my degree and then go to teaching school.

Which faculty is multi media/info tech related more? school of interactive arts and technology or computing science?

reason for asking: im in grade 12 and wanna drop my bio 12 class because its not required for SIAT, but it IS required for CS

I did not need Bio for CS.

SIAT is more artsy-fartsy where CS is a lot of math and science.

i just found out when crossing from college to university it makes only the college requirements take effect, aka high school req's are cancelled.

    is this true?

thats true, only to an extent

for example, if a course requires you have math 12 and you dont have it then you still cant take it, unless you took a course in college equivalent to math 12 or you take a placement test

in regards to university admittance, you will be judged to different standards, those of college transfer students rather than a high school student

be aware if you go to a college, your GPA becomes NIL when you transfer, this can be a good or bad thing how you look at it
