I had no idea it existed, but I saw a Subway on campus today as I hopped on my bus. I was epically disappointed seeing as I had a Mr. Sub large sub in hand at the time.

It was as if God kicked me in the nuts.

Damn, I am so going to that one. Mr. Sub always kind of sucked.

Ahhh, ok. I figured it out. There's a Subway kiosk opening up in the Renaissance cafe at Cornerstone, where they always used to have their own sandwich desk. It's not open yet, seems like it's still in the setup stage. But the sign is up in the window, already.

As for humanities, I am not sure we have a humanities common room.

I don't think there's a burger king near campus, but there's a mcdonalds on hastings that's about 15min away. I think I mentioned it before already on previous pages.

yup, bus down for some greasy mcgoodness then bus to class!
I actually use to take the 145 and skytrain to lougheed town center and wander there & eat there, but they closed the mcdix there and turned it into some stupid clothing store. For shame!

I'm glad I'm not on campus this semester, real food is great.

    The Subway shop has opened~
There is a Mcdonalds on Como Lake, if you take the 143 and go off at the first stop and then walk about 5 mins then you should get there.
Takes about 10 mins but as others have said, you could go with the option of going to the one on Hastings.

nobody likes eating lunch at the pub? it's the only real place to sit down and enjoy lunch..
  • edited September 2008
Be warned though, it can take quite some time if the place is crowded. But their lunches aren't bad, especially when you're legal (like me) and can have it with a beer.

Where is subway? Is it on the side of the street or facing that walkway (or that parking lot)?
  • edited September 2008
On the side that has the giant SUBWAY sign.
  • edited September 2008
It's new, it was an add on to the Renaissance coffee shop at Cornerstone.

What was the Renaissance there like before Subway took over 1/3 of its space? Only went in like once before.
